One common myth is that coaching is only for struggling individuals or businesses. Another misconception is that coaching is a quick fix or a replacement for mentorship or therapy. Additionally, it's a myth that only highly successful people need coaching, and that anyone can call themselves a coach. The Coaches need to be educated in a specialized program and then get board certified by the NBHWC (National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching) which the exam is prepared for coaches by doctors. We are also not life coaches, we are health and wellness coaches. Different because we are practitioners to heal the whole mind body and soul.

2. “Coaches are Perfect”Many assume that coaches are perfect…. True coaches are always learning and growing. Meaning they make mistakes and learn from them.
3. “Coaching is Therapy”Coaching is often confused with therapy… therapy deals with a person’s past. While coaching focuses on a person’s future. Coaches help you move forward and achieve your goals.
4. “Coaches are just Motivators”Most people think we are just cheerleaders… While motivation is part of it, we also provide strategies and accountability. We help you stay on track and get tangible results.
5. “Coaching is ALL size fits all”Many believe that one approach fits everyone… Great coaches tailor their methods, for each individual. They understand that everyone’s journey is unique.
6. “Coaches fix everything…”People think coaches will fix their problems. Instead, coaches will empower you to fix your own issues. They provide tools and support, but you do the work.
7. “Coaches are always Positive.”It is a myth that coaches are always upbeat… Good coaches are honesty and direct, even if it is tough to hear. They provide constructive feedback for your growth.
8. “Coaching is for only struggling individuals…”Some believe that only those struggling need coaching. Even successful people benefit from coaching. It helps them reach higher level of performance.
9. “Coaching is expensive.”Many assume that coaching is unaffordable. There are various coaching options to fit different budgets. Investing in coaching can yield significant returns.
10. “Coaching is a quick Fix”People think coaching gets instant results… Real change takes time and effort. Coaching is a journey not a quick fix.
11. “Coaches work alone”Some think coaches work in isolation. Great coaches have their own mentors and support networks. They understand the value of continuous learning and collaboration.
